Carl started off as a glass collector in a local nightclub, he always had a feel and a love for music and when the resident dj never turned up the manager asked him to go and play a few tunes, he did although he had never mixed on 2 record decks he was mixing his first tracks within thirty minutes.

He says ' I couldn't believe how easy I picked it up, I used to watch the resident dj and had an idea of what to do and when asked to cover for him I put it to practice and found it really easy, I guess im just one of the lucky ones'.

Carl has never stopped perfecting his mixes the 10 years he has been playing and continues to strive in his performances, now using his laptop and traktor he plays some very creative sets, although he does make sure he takes some records with him for good measure. 'I will never leave records it's how I started and learned and there is nothing like taking a vinyl out and hearing it been played sounds so much wamer than a cd, but I had to join the digital era and it is a lot easier on my back'.

He then went on to run his own night BACK2HOUSE which was very successful, after this he was offered to do guest sets in local bars and clubs and gaining a loyal following of members he then progressed to run DELICIOUS another night with a soundtrack consisting of retro and funky vocal house tracks.

After a few years of running his nights he recieved a phone call to become the resident dj at the nightclub he first started out, he gladly accpeted and was rocking the dance floor week in week out for 3 years.

He then took a break from it all to look after his father who was taken ill.

Now he is back, and ready to get you rocking once again.
